Breast Cancer Awareness Walk September 2025

This piece was painted for a local Breast Cancer Awareness Walk held on September 27th, 2025. The connection to this event stemmed from the Cycle Cell Anemia walk held on the 13th of September. The lead organizer desired a feature painting to be created and produce a print for a raffle give away.

Cycle Cell Anemia Walk September 2025

This piece was painted for a local Cycle Cell Anemia Walk held on September 13th, 2025. This piece was purchased and then donated to the event organizer. While Cycle Cell Anemia is a rare, uncommonly heard illness, it nonetheless has a tremendous impact on day to day life. This piece is to show the woman using her cycle cells to help the flowers bloom. The flowers are to symbolize hope in the midst of the suffering that is caused.

August 2025 Flower Pot Mural Commission

Illustrated: Front

This project is located in Kansas City, KS, within a circle drive neighborhood. The goal of this project was to create a design/illustration that embodied the neighborhood’s qualities and goals: Unity, Diversity and a Safe Space for children. The images above this description are the drafted mock-ups of the proposed and approved design, while the images below are the finished product.

This involved collaboration with the head of the neighborhood committee who shared the general consensus of the neighborhood’s ideals in regards to finding ways to accent the flowers planted and the flower pot itself.

Finished Product

This mural was painting in 2021, located in Manhattan, KS for Bluemont Elementary School. At the time I was employed with Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan KS; overseer of the before and after school programming held at the elementary school. This mural was commissioned to capture the schools pride and joy in diversity. Acknowledging all its students and their different cultures. I teamed together with the principal, school faculty and their 5th grade students on the design and the quote.
